Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club

Our Breakfast Club is based in the dining room and runs from either 7.45 am or 8.00 am to 8.45 am when the children go onto the playground.

The club is run by Mrs Victoria Whitehead and assisted by three of our other support staff who are already well known to the children.

A menu of healthy options is provided and children also have the opportunity to brush their teeth before the end of the session.

The entrance to the club is via the dining room door and you can drop off your children at either 7.45 am or between
8.00 am and 8.15 am, which will give them sufficient time to eat. Please don't bring them later than this if they are to have breakfast as there is not enough time.

There is a daily charge per child for this provision - £4.00 if your child arrives at 7.45am or £3.50 if your child arrives at 8.00am. Our policy is that meals will not be supplied on credit. Money for the Breakfast Club should be brought to school on the first day of any school week, or if a child is absent through illness etc. then it should be brought on their first day back. Cheques (made payable to ‘Chartham Primary School’) or cash should be placed in an envelope clearly marked with your child’s name, class and the amount enclosed and clearly marked for the attention of Mrs Whitehead.

The children are expected to behave in a sensible and responsible manner and to follow the instructions of the adult staff. Normal school rules re health and safety, movement about the buildings, and behaviour apply.

If your child is ill the Breakfast Club needs to be informed via the school telephone number 01227 738225. Mrs Whitehead is available in the school canteen from 7.45am each morning.

Please come into the school office for a form to complete.  Places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

If you wish your child to stop attending the club or vice versa you must give one week’s notice in writing please.
