Dear Parents
The Friends have been busy organising events this year and have some great events planned for the forthcoming year.
As you can imagine it takes a lot of hard work and effort to organise these events and any additional help we can get would be very much appreciated. Therefore the Friends would like to put together a list of PTA non-members. This would be a dedicated list of parents who would be able to help at future events. You will not be required to assist in advance of an event or attend PTA meetings, you would just be needed to help at the event, i.e. Christmas Fair, Discos, May Fair etc etc.
If you feel this is something you would like to be involved in, please can you complete the slip below with your contact details and return to the school office.
Thank you for your assistance.
Kind regards
The Friends of Chartham Primary School

100 Club next draw November 28th 2008
WE NEED YOUR HELP
Dear Parents,
We wrote to you recently regarding the launch of this year’s 100 Club, which last year raised over £200 towards funds to be used in school, as well as nearly £200 in prize money for members. We were hoping to continue this great fundraising scheme but unfortunately have received only a small response so far. We are writing again in the hope that we will be able to attract some more members in order to make running the club a viable project.
Just £1 per month buys a number which is entered into a monthly lottery. If your number is one of the three drawn out, you will win a cash prize. Each month half of the money taken will go to school and the other half to prize money.
All numbers must be paid for in advance, £10 for one number in each of the monthly draws up to and including the draw in August 2009 (double in July before school breaks up).
Unfortunately we will be unable to sell numbers to anyone under 16, but anyone else can buy numbers, ask your friends and relatives too. The more numbers we sell, the bigger the prizes we’ll be able to offer; and the more money will be raised for the school.
To be a member of the club from November, fill in the form below and return it with your payment, cash or cheque, to the school office before Friday 21st November. Please mark the envelope ‘100 Club’ and make cheques payable to ‘The Friends of Chartham Primary School’.
Winners will be notified in the school playground or by phone, and a list of prize winners will be posted on the school notice board.
If you have any questions please contact Sarah Flewitt, the 100 Club coordinator, via the Friend’s pigeonhole in the school office.
Go on, put that spare tenner to good use........funds for school and possibly a cash prize for you.
DON’T FORGET, BE IN IT TO WIN IT!
