Welcome to Leopards class (Year 4)
Our teacher is Miss Bransfield.
Leopards have PE on a Wednesday afternoon and Friday morning.
Please try to read every day and record what you have read in your reading record. Also, keeping working on those spellings and timetables! Spellings tests are on Thursdays.
Our topic this term is Roadtrip USA!
This topic is all about learning more about American culture, geography and traditions. We have already 'visited' New York and sent postcards from our trip. We are looking forward to exploring Native American Culture in upcoming weeks and writing legends based on this.
In art and DT, we will be focusing on designing and making our very own longhouses, which were lived in by Iroquois people.
This term we will be studying Human Health and Fitness. We are looking forward to all the exciting experiments this will bring.
In our classroom we have a display that is updated with impressive work, we call it wow work! Some of us have work up there already, others of us are continuing to work hard to get some work up there soon.
Hugo the Worry Monster
Hugo is a very important member of Leopards Class. Hugo’s job is to read our worries and either gobble them up or help us to solve our worries.
