Our class teacher is Miss Mosedale. We are very lucky to have the support of Ms Maple and Mr Leeks.
Maple class have Forest School on Wednesdays and PE on Fridays.
Reader of the Week is awarded on a Friday. Please try to be a 'responsible reader' by reading at home every day and continue to support your children with their reading at home.
Please find your child's reading day on the front of their reading record and bring this is on those days, along with their reading book.
Our Big Question: What is a natural disaster?
During terms 3 and 4 we will be looking at naturally occurring events that cause destruction or extreme weather changes. These will include earthquakes, floods and volcanoes. We will be doing some exciting experiments to find out how and where these occur.
This term will be continuing our learning of addition and subtraction within 1,000 as well as multiplication and division. We will also focus on money, statistics and fractions.
This term our topic is 'Light'. We will be carrying out lots of fun experiments.
Our RE topic this term focuses on different religions and how and why they pray.
We are reading the non-fiction book Pebble in my Pocket by Meredith Hooper as our class reader.
