Picture Book Week from 28th February until 3rd March
There are some great activities planned, especially as World Book Day (WBD) happens to fall during our Picture Book Week too.
- Tuesday 28th February – Children can exchange their WBD token for a WBD text in school if they wish. Postponed due to book seller being badly delayed in traffic. We will ensure that the children get the opportunity to do this by the end of the week.
- Tuesday 28th February - We have the popular £1 Book seller in school from 3pm for a great chance to grab some bargain books (WBD vouchers cannot be used to purchase these books)
- Thursday 2nd March World Book Day – Where's Wally! we would like everyone to be a ‘Wally for Literacy’ !
- Friday 3rd March - exhibition of all the fabulous picture book work in the school hall. Open to parents from 2.30pm until 3.15pm
