Welcome to Yew Class.
We are Year 6 and our teacher is Miss Copeman. We are also really lucky to have Mrs Pitchacaren working with us too.

Did the ancient Maya people respect the world more than we do now?
Throughout our curriculum we explore the PSHE threads: risk, resilience, rights & responsibilities and change, as well as respect and diversity.
For PSHE we follow Jigsaw - this term, our 'piece' is 'Dreams and goals'.
For science we looking at Living things and their habitats! We will be focus on classifying living things, for this, we will be going out around the school grounds a lot so please ensure you have suitable footwear.
PE is on a Thursday afternoon, children can come to school in their PE kits.
PE kits must consist of a plain white t-shirt, plain navy or black shorts or trousers. For colder weather, children can wear their school jumper (no hoodies).
Homework will be set via Tapestry weekly
