We would like to say thank you for the support that parents and carers show at our School Book Fairs. In the picture is a selection of books that we have been able to choose free of charge using commission raised from your generous purchases; this is an invaluable contribution to the childrens' learning.

Our next Book Fair is during the week beginning 16th June and we hope to see you there.

The governing body of Chartham Primary School warmly welcome you to a community event on Friday 9th June 2017. We will be holding two sessions throughout the day as follows:

We will be showcasing the fantastic learning opportunities provided for the community and we would love to share our exciting plans for the future with you. Bake Sale

Dear Parents and Carers

We would first like to thank all of those who helped us with the last bake sale!

There will be a chance for Year 1 children to show off their baking skills on Friday 19th May 2017.

All your child has to do is to make some cakes at home, then bring them into school on the morning of 19th May.

The cakes will then be sold in the playground from 3.15pm. Please contact the Friends if you can help sell the cakes via the Friends of Chartham Primary School Facebook page or email charthamfriends@gmail.com

Dear Parents/Carers

Please join The Friends of Chartham Primary School on Thursday 11th May at 7.30pm at the school for their general meeting.

The Friends are a mixture of parents who work together for the benefit of the school. They organise events such as the Christmas and summer fairs, school discos, bake and ice-cream sales, themed events and Easter egg bingo. All parents are welcome, please come along and get involved. It would be great to see some new faces with new ideas!

The Friends of Chartham Primary School will be hosting a Quiz Night at the school on Friday 19th May from 8.00pm. Doors open via the dining hall entrance at 7.30pm for a prompt start.

Tickets are £5 per person with a maximum of 8 people per team. Please BYO drinks and nibbles as we will not be providing refreshments. In order to secure your table for a fun filled evening advanced booking is recommended. A letter with a return slip is going home with your child. Please complete the slip and return via the school office by Tuesday 16th May.

Dear Parents/Carers

I am really excited to pass on the news that we now have the opportunity to offer a Multi Sports Holiday Club over the May half term through Premier Sport.

The club will be run at the school from 9.00am to 15.00pm at a cost of £14.95 per child, per day (with XTRA time available which will extend hours from 8.15am to 17.00pm at an additional £5.00 per child).

Bookings can be made online at www.premiersport.org or by filling out the return slip (you will find this under letters on the website). We are offering a 15% discount if you book online two weeks before the camp begins.
