    Wed 28 Jun 2017

    Dear Parents/Carers

We are really excited to pass the news on that we now have the opportunity to offer a Multi Sports Holiday Club over the first three weeks of the summer holidays through Premier Sport.

The club will run at the school from 9.00am to 15.00pm at a cost of £14.95 per child per day (with extra time available which will extend hours from 8.15am to 17.00pm at an additional £5.00 per child).

Bookings can be made online at www.premiersport.org Or with the booking form (please check the letter section of our website for the booking form, this has also been sent by ParentMail). We are offering a 15% discount if you book online two weeks before the camp begins.

If you have any questions or queries regarding the details of the club in the mean time please do not hesitate to contact myself or Sophie Husband (Area Manager, Premier Sport) and we will be able to answer all of these.

    Kind regards

  • KM Charity Award for Chartham Primary School

    Wed 07 Jun 2017
Chartham School has been awarded a Platinum Travel Mark Award at Leeds Castle in recognition of the amazing efforts made by parents and children towards green travel to school. Buster's Walk on Wednesday scheme is well established in our school and alongside that we are now running Buster's Book Club. This makes us a BOP school - Buster's Outstanding Partners, and we couldn't manage this without the support of parents and children. Keep up the great work walking to school (keeping fit and helping the environment) and reading as much as you possibly can! You never know, we may even get a visit from Buster at school!!
  • Thank you to The Friends

Mon 05 Jun 2017 Mrs Flewitt

The Friends have very kindly agreed to fund the purchase of magazine subscriptions for the children to read in school. The magazines will appear in the library over the coming weeks and are another great way to get the children reading for pleasure. Ask your children what magazines they have been reading!

  • Pen Pals in Nepal

Mon 05 Jun 2017 Miss Marlow

The children at Chartham Primary School have been sending and receiving videos with their new pen pals in a village in Nepal!

Each year group have been involved with our new ongoing project. The link has been set up to enable the children to learn about life in a developing country.

Chartham Primary School and Takure Primary school have so far exchanged videos and questions, and we are hoping to raise some money this year to help the children of Takure Primary School buy some new books.

Take a look at Takure's website, and you can find the links to the videos on Ladybirds class page.

    Thanks! Miss Marlow
