  • Christmas Fair Times

    Tue 28 Nov 2017

    Dear Parents/Carers

The Christmas Fair times on Friday 1st December will be:

    • At 1.45pm Reception children will be taken to the Fair with their buddies.
    • At 2.00pm the rest of the school will visit the Fair (staggered by year, so not all at once!)
    • At around 2.50pm the children will return to their classrooms.
    • At 2.45pm the Fair is open to all on the playground and then from 3.15pm in the hall and canteen.
    • At 4.00pm the raffle will be called.

We still would appreciate volunteers to help on the day.

Please remember Friday 1st December is a non-uniform day and the children are asked to bring in either a wrapped bottle (in date, plastic, unopened, not alcohol) or a chocolate donation.

As the children will be visiting the Fair in the afternoon please send them to school with some small change in a named purse. A bag is also handy for their prizes!

Father Christmas will be visiting the children in their classrooms on Friday morning.

We look forward to seeing you there.

The Book Fair held last week was incredibly successful which means that we have earned commission towards buying new books to use in school. This success is down to the fabulous support from parents and carers who generously purchased an amazing amount of books. We would like to say a GREAT BIG THANK YOU!

  • Children In Need Spotacular!

    Thu 02 Nov 2017

    Dear Parents/Carers

On Friday 17th November we will be raising money for Children In Need - children are asked to go all Spotacular!

Go spotty! Here are a few ideas to get you started - you could look through your drawers for spotty jumpers, pyjamas, t-shirts, skirts, leggings, dresses and trousers! You could turn an old t-shirt spotty by sticking or sewing on multi-coloured spots, buttons, pom poms or sequins, or go spotty with the help of fabric pens or round stickers. Accessorise with spots and get all spotted up with ties, hats, scarves, shoes, socks and hair decorations. You could even go for fancy dress and come as a Dalmatian, ladybird, clown or Minnie Mouse.

In exchange the children should bring in a suggested donation of £1.

In addition the School Council will be running a cake stall at morning break. If you are able to make a cake for the stall please bring them in to school in the morning. Please let us know if the cakes are dairy/gluten free. Each cake will cost 20 pence and children are allowed to buy just one cake each.

    Many thanks
